The Core Foundation is committed to providing students with the academic and hands-on clinical skills needed to be exceptional dental assistants. Our cutting-edge dental facility allows students to maximize their classroom knowledge and provides them with great hands-on experience, using only the most modern equipment and techniques.

Dental Assistants play a very important role in the dental office — they are literally the “glue” that keeps the office functioning smoothly and successfully.

Dentists rely on their assistants for a variety of treatments, such as (but not limited to):

• Preparing patients for treatment
• Seeing that all instruments are properly sterilized
• In proper working order and that they are laid out accordingly before the patient arrives
• Passing the proper instruments to the dentist during procedures
• Learning proper radiograph exposure and placement techniques
• Dental charting
• Being knowledgeable about a variety of lab techniques including expanded functions.

Students will also gain valuable communication skills that will allow them to build personable relationships with their patients.

The programs educational objectives and outcomes are:

• Demonstrate academic and clinical proficiency in dental assisting skills at the entry level
• Demonstrate oral and written communication and applied psychology in the dental office
• Demonstrate anticipating operator skills
• Demonstrate maintaining the field in four handed dentistry
• Demonstrate assisting with restorative procedures and using materials
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy of the teeth, head and neck as related to dentistry
• Apply theory of radiation physics, biology and exposing diagnostic acceptable radiographs
• Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior
• Apply theory of patient management
• Employable as an entry level dental assistant

We are 100% committed to our students receiving extraordinary results from our program. Throughout the 12 week course, students will also receive training in the art of communication, better preparing them for the interview process and their new future career as a dental assistant.

Our dental assisting course is a 12-week course that is fast, fun, hands-on, and affordable! This course is offered Monday and Wednesday evenings, as well as online! Our onsite course costs $2,999 and we offer a monthly payment option.
