FAQ for Our Core’s Programs

Interested in attending The Core Foundation, but want to know more about us? Well, now you can! We know it’s important to choose a program that is right for you. There are many factors to consider when choosing your program especially one we want to build our career on now and in the future.

We’ve compiled a list of questions we get asked about our training facility and Core Programs. Now, you can get your questions answered in one sitting. Learn more about what we have to offer and what you can expect from us.

What programs do you offer?

At The Core Foundation, we offer various dental programs. We offer

Is a high school diploma required for admission?

No, we do not require a high school diploma for admission. For the state of Utah, a high school diploma is not required. But for other states, you might need to check their regulations.

Are internship hours required?

Yes! Internship hours are part of the curriculum and requirement for graduation. After 3 weeks, students will be doing internship hours outside of class hours. Students are responsible for meeting internship hours. However, we will be verifying students are attending and meeting internship hours.  

What is the class schedule for Dental Assisting Program?

Our classes are set in the evening from Monday – Wednesday at 5PM to 9PM.  

How long does it take to complete your Dental Assisting Program?

Since we offer our Dental Assisting Program both onsite and online, their duration for completion is different. For our onsite assisting program, it takes 12-weeks to complete.

For our online Dental Assisting Program, you can sign up anytime and have 6 months to complete the program.

When and how long is the Dental X-Ray Certification Program?

We offer our Dental X-Ray Certification course on selected Saturdays from 10AM – 6PM. It is a one day course and one day program. You will need to be present to be certified.

Is there a likelihood of finding a job quickly?

At The Core Foundation, we want to see you succeed. Our dental programs are designed to prepare you with the knowledge and experience to work within a dental office upon graduation. We even help prep you for interviews and with your resume.

The likelihood of finding a job is dependent on many factors such as location, dental offices, and job requirements, to name a few. For the most part, our alumni have been successful in finding jobs after graduation.

Tution

How much does the Dental Assisting Program cost?

If you prefer to come onsite in a classroom setting, the 12-week Dental Assisting Program costs $2999. If you prefer to do our program online, the cost is $2497.

Does FAFSA cover tuition costs?

Unfortunately, we do not work with FAFSA to cover tuition.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We offer payment plans for our onsite Dental Assisting Program which you can set up at our facility. For more information on our payment plan, you can contact our office at 801-747-8016 or email Natalie Kerr at [email protected].

What are some financial options to attending your training facility?
